Sunce Koncern plc. was founded in 2004 under the name Sunce Hoteli Ltd, with the Andabak family owning the majority of the shares.
In 2005, Sunce Koncern consolidated the hotels under the common brand of Bluesun Hotels & Resorts to increase their marketability and it became the leader of the tourism market in Croatia.
